EMERGENCY RESOURCES
If you're in immediate danger call 9-1-1 now.
Otherwise, please call the hotline first.
1-800-799-SAFE
We are not a crisis agency, but we often are asked to recommend shelters and other services. Here is a list of the other organizations serving survivors of domestic abuse. We ALWAYS recommend a hotline as the first call because they are trained to help you make a safety plan, and they will know the resources in your area.
Only you know your situation completely, and you will decide when and how to get out, but hotline advocates can help you think through your options.
Consider whether you can safely call or text from your phone or computer. If your abuser could track your online activity, it may be safer for you to use a friend's phone or a public computer, perhaps at a library.
